The Wabash Valley National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes first responder and police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. The RHIC has been a proud partner of this campaign for several years. Each year, organizations from accross the Wabash Valley come out to share with the public ways to improve health and safety around the community. The RHIC Mobile Simulation Unit is on hand to give kids a chance to see what it's like to be in the back of an ambulance. And pediatric HAL is typically on hand to teach kids that Parmedics and other first responders will be there if an emergency happens.
